Sliding-Scale Psychotherapy

in California and Idaho

Hi, I'm Mia Zucker (she/her/hers), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and trauma therapist specializing in complex-trauma treatment for teens and adults.

Complex trauma refers to long-term and/or multiple traumatic experiences and as such, my work frequently addresses current or historic intimate partner, childhood, and sexual violence; self-harm and suicidality; emotion dysregulation from personality disorders; and other trauma-related anxiety, mood, and obsessive disorders. You can find more information on my professional and academic experience - including issues and diagnoses served, as well as interventions offered - in the “About Mia” section of the “About” page (why waste your time with redundancy?).

You are the expert on your life and the owner of your story, and my practice is built on an ethos of community care in which individuals are treated with respect and compassionate curiosity. I am an advocate before I’m a therapist, am antiracist, justice-oriented, and prioritize establishing an environment of safety and trust.
